  • A paid subscription gates everything. Clarivate's documentation requires a valid Cortellis CMC Intelligence subscription. No pricing, plan tier or trial is published for the connector, so the cost of access is a sales conversation rather than a documented number.
  • Entitlement is per-account and not visible to us. Anthropic's directory description states users can access "subscribed and licensed content."   • Source-document counts disagree across Clarivate's own pages. The current product page says 2,700+ source documents and 170+ Cortellis Regulatory Intelligence links; the May 2024 post-approval announcement said 6K+ documents and over 2K links. We report both with dates rather than choosing one.
  • Freshness is stated as a process, not a service level. Daily updating is claimed; no lag figure per regulator or market is published.
  • Gateway rate limits apply. Clarivate's API gateway returned x-ratelimit-limit-second 25 and x-ratelimit-limit-minute 100 on our anonymous probe (2026-09-09). Whether an authenticated session sees the same ceiling is not published.
  • The connector's own documentation is thin. We measured Clarivate's nominated documentation page at 117 words. It covers setup, the subscription requirement, one tool description and a support address, and nothing else. Everything substantive on this page about the corpus came from Clarivate's product and news pages instead — a real gap on a partner-tier listing from a large publisher that documents this product extensively elsewhere.
