Tool names from Anthropic's directory listing. This server requires sign-in, so we could not read tool descriptions or parameter schemas.

Limits

Automatic backup is off by default. Without it, deletion is not recoverable and previous versions cannot be restored (Cloudinary backup documentation, retrieved 2026-08-18).
Bulk-deleted assets are outside the normal restore path. Cloudinary states its restore instructions do not apply to assets removed with the Console's Bulk Delete tool, and directs affected users to contact support to evaluate options.
Renaming permanently invalidates existing URLs, including derived assets, and breaks hardcoded references in applications, CMSs and CDN configurations (Cloudinary rename documentation).
The Admin API is rate-limited: Cloudinary documents 500 requests per hour on the free plan and 2,000 or more on paid plans. The Upload API is described as rate-unlimited, so listing and searching hit the ceiling long before uploading does.
Upload size caps scale with plan. Free allows 10 MB images, 100 MB video and 10 MB raw files; Advanced and above allow 40 MB images and 4 GB video (Cloudinary pricing documentation, Markdown edition).
Local files cannot be uploaded directly by this connector. Cloudinary directs callers to signed upload credentials, and to the CLI or an SDK for files over 100 MB or for bulk uploads.
delete-folder removes the folder and everything in it, not just empty folders.
We could not read the live tool schemas. The server returns 401 to an anonymous handshake, so every tool name here comes from Anthropic's directory snapshot and every behaviour from Cloudinary's published documentation and its own server description page. We did not authenticate and we called no tool.
The tool count is contested. 22 in Anthropic's 2026-08-16 snapshot, 30 on Cloudinary's own server page on 2026-08-18, including two image-generation tools the directory does not list.
