Verified connector

Listed by Anthropic as a partner connector in its Connectors Directory.

Connection checked by Agentman on .

Anthropic states this reflects the level of review a connector received, not a security audit.

Day AI Tools & Capabilities (25)

Tool names from Anthropic's directory listing. This server requires sign-in, so we could not read tool descriptions or parameter schemas.

Limits

  • The directory listing is largely non-functional. Nine of the 25 listed names survive in Day AI's current reference. Build against the vendor's SDK reference, not the connector listing.
  • The vendor's documentation is itself incomplete. Its reference links 42 tools in a table of contents but publishes an input schema for only 15 of them. The remaining 27 are named and tier-assigned with no parameter detail anywhere we could reach.
  • No delete verb on the documented MCP surface. Day AI lists four deletion tools among the 11 it marks hidden from MCP. That is the vendor's configuration statement, not a guarantee.
  • We could not read tool annotations or schemas from the wire. The endpoint requires OAuth, so there is no readOnlyHint or destructiveHint data for this connector. Every read/write label on this page is derived from tool names and from vendor schema documentation. Absence of an annotation is not evidence a tool is safe.
  • Tier gates most of the surface. Only 10 of 42 documented tools are available without a paid assistant, and prospect search and batch writes need the highest tier.
  • Consent for captured content is the customer's responsibility. Day AI's privacy policy states customers must comply with recording-consent laws, including all-party consent regimes, and that Day AI provides in-product notification and opt-out mechanisms rather than obtaining consent itself.
  • Google-sourced data carries a narrower promise. Day AI states that personal data received from Google APIs is not used for machine-learning training, research or development except to improve the Google integration features themselves. Its transcription data carries no equivalent carve-out — the policy says it trains on transcriptions.
  • No Microsoft 365 path. Day AI's own harness documentation states there is no native Outlook, Teams or Microsoft account connection; the account model is Google.
  • No connector-catalogue tool. Day AI notes its MCP server exposes no tool listing which connectors a workspace has, so an agent cannot discover that from MCP.

Frequently asked questions

Do you need a paid Day AI plan to use the MCP server?

Day AI's own sources disagree. The MCP page states a paid Agent tier is required, while the same vendor's SDK reference lists ten tools available on the Free tier, including search and meeting-transcript reads. Treat the free surface as read-plus-light-write only: drafting email, creating pages and sending notifications all start at the paid Turbo tier.

Can the Day AI MCP server read my colleagues' email?

It reads whatever your workspace sharing rules already expose to you. Day AI ingests each user's Gmail and Calendar per-user, and each person sets their own sharing rules by domain or address. The connector inherits those rules rather than overriding them, so MCP access is bounded by your existing workspace role, not widened by it.

Can the connector send email on my behalf?

Not directly. The documented email tool is create_email_draft, which creates or updates a draft and never sends it. Outbound sending does exist through a separate notification tool that posts to email or Slack, so the connector can put a message in front of a person, just not through your mail thread.

Does the Day AI MCP server expose meeting transcripts?

Yes. One documented tool returns the full VTT transcript of a recorded meeting, paginated at roughly 20,000 tokens per call, and an option returns raw speaker-level utterances with timestamps and email addresses. Meeting text therefore enters the agent's context verbatim, including words spoken by people outside your company.

Why does the connector expose fewer tools than Day AI documents?

Anthropic's directory snapshot is stale. It names 25 tools, of which only nine still appear in Day AI's current SDK reference, and that reference lists 42 tools available over MCP. Three of the listed names are explicitly marked internal-only and hidden from MCP, so calls written against the directory listing will largely fail.

Does Day AI's MCP server offer prompts or resources?

No. Day AI's authorization server metadata declares its MCP feature set directly, and it advertises tools only, with resources, prompts and logging all set to false. Anthropic's directory records no prompt names for this connector either, so the two sources agree. Tools are the entire surface.
