Frequently asked questions
Does the Harmonic MCP server need a paid plan?
No, but an unpaid connection is capped. Harmonic states that a user whose team has no API access gets 10 requests per day at no cost, with deal data unavailable. Teams with limited API access get the same daily allowance until an admin enables MCP requests to draw on the team credit pool.
How many requests can the Harmonic MCP server make?
It depends on your team's API plan, and Harmonic publishes three tiers. No API access and limited API access both give each user 10 requests per day. Unlimited API access removes the cap. An admin can lift the daily cap on a limited plan by letting MCP draw from the team credit pool.
Can the Harmonic MCP server delete anything?
No. Harmonic states that write tools such as creating and updating lists are available but that it does not currently support any destructive operations. None of the 23 tool names in Anthropic's snapshot contains a delete, remove or archive verb, even though Harmonic's REST API documents endpoints that delete custom fields and list entries.
Whose personal data does the Harmonic connector return?
Founders, operators and investors who never gave Harmonic their data directly. Harmonic states it collects personal information from public sources such as government websites and public-facing parts of social media, and aggregates it into profiles holding the kind of detail found on a public resume.
How can someone get their details removed from Harmonic?
By contacting Harmonic directly. Its privacy policy directs anyone wanting to opt out of collection from public sources to the Your Privacy Choices and Rights section, which lists deletion and objection rights and gives one contact address for privacy questions. Harmonic publishes no self-service removal form.
Does enriching a person cost credits?
Enrichment draws on API credits, and email enrichment has its own separate quota. Harmonic gives each customer account 5,000 pooled email requests per month, resetting on the first. A person is only eligible when they have no email on file and have not been attempted in the last 30 days.
Will an agent know when a Harmonic lookup was wasted?
Only for email enrichment, where Harmonic returns the reason. Its bulk email endpoint reports dropped inputs with a reason for each, and states that if every selected person is dropped the request is not submitted and nothing counts against quota. Other enrichment paths carry no equivalent published guard.
Can you grant the Harmonic MCP server read-only access?
Harmonic's server advertises separate read and write scopes, which most connectors do not. Its OAuth documents, fetched on 2026-08-18, list read and write as the supported scopes. Whether a client lets you deselect write at the consent screen depends on that client, not on Harmonic.
