Zacks Data
by Zacks Data
Read standardized income statement, balance sheet and cash flow data for North American public companies from an AI agent. Four read-only tools, no writes and no trading. OAuth sign-in with identity-only scopes; Zacks says output may not be redistributed without a separate agreement.
Verified connector
Listed by Anthropic as a partner connector in its Connectors Directory.

Zacks Data Tools & Capabilities (4)
Tool names from Anthropic's directory listing. This server requires sign-in, so we could not read tool descriptions or parameter schemas.
Limits
- This page carries no view on the value of Zacks' research. Zacks publishes methodology and performance material for the Zacks Rank elsewhere; none of it is repeated here, none of it is endorsed, and none of the connector's four tools returns a rank in the first place. Zacks' own disclaimer states its data does not constitute investment advice or a recommendation.
- No tool schemas or safety annotations could be read. The endpoint returned 401, so no parameter-level detail appears on this page and the read-only classification is ours from names and vendor statements, not a
readOnlyHintwe observed. - The tool-name match is semantic, not literal. Zacks documents
company_snapshot,income_statement,balance_sheetandcash_flow; Anthropic ships the same four with aget_prefix. The mapping is 1:1 and unambiguous, but a rename of what the operation actually does would not show up in this diff. - We could not measure the real breadth inside the four tools. Without input schemas we cannot say whether they accept line-item or field selectors. The whole surface is read-only either way, but "four tools" is not the same claim as "four fixed reports".
- The directory description overstates today's surface. It names the Zacks Rank, estimates and market news; Zacks' roadmap places all three under Coming soon.
- Zacks' delivery page names ETF holdings data as part of Connect AI; no ETF tool appears in any of the three tool enumerations we found. Unresolved.
- Recency is not documented at the connector level. Zacks documents for its enterprise datasets that press-release figures populate the database before the SEC filing overwrites them, but does not state which stage the connector serves, or whether it returns originally-reported or restated values.
- No rate limit is published for the connector. Zacks advertises "rate limits appropriate for production use" on its enterprise API, and names no figure for either.
- The beta status is a moving target. Zacks calls this a free open beta, on a roadmap of six additional dataset families. Anything on this page about price, coverage or the tool list is a statement about 2026-08-23.
- No prompts or resources could be probed. The
initializehandshake never completed, so we cannot report whether the server declares a prompts or resources capability. That is "unread", not "none". zacks-datais absent from our 2026-08-16 directory snapshot and appears in the 2026-08-23 pull at partner tier. We therefore have no earlier tier to compare against, and no tier change to report.
Frequently asked questions
No. All four tools carry a get prefix and return filed financial statement figures, and no tool name or documented parameter references an order, position or account. Zacks states on its own connector site that access is read-only, with no trading and no writes. The connector reads a research database; it holds no brokerage relationship.
Neither, in the usual market-data sense. The four tools return reported financial statement figures from company filings and earnings press releases, not quoted prices. Zacks describes the records as reported and point-in-time. No tool returns a share price, a quote or an intraday value, so the stale-price hazard that applies to market-data feeds does not arise here.
Not in the current beta. Zacks lists the Zacks Rank, EPS and sales consensus, estimate revisions and surprise history under Coming soon on its connector roadmap, alongside ratings, target prices and prices. Anthropic's directory description mentions the Zacks Rank, so the directory text is ahead of what the four listed tools return today.
Zacks says no without a separate agreement. Its connector FAQ answers the redistribution question with a plain no and states the beta is for your own research and analysis. Its site footer repeats that output may not be redistributed without a separate agreement. Zacks does not publish a position on model training for this connector.
Nothing, and no. Zacks describes Connect AI as a free open beta with no pricing and access granted automatically after email verification. No tool name references a credit, balance, quota or billing operation, and Zacks publishes no per-call rate for the connector. There is also no tool an agent could use to observe consumption.
Identity claims only. The server's own RFC 9728 descriptor declares an empty scopes_supported array, and its authorization server advertises just four scopes: email, offline_access, openid and profile. None of them names a Zacks object or verb, so the consent screen offers no way to narrow which financial data the agent may read.
About 10,000 North American companies with 5 to 10 years of history in the beta, per Zacks. Zacks adds that 20, 30 or even 40 years of standardized history is available on request. Coverage is North American equities only, so private, foreign and delisted tickers may not resolve through the connector.
Because they are reported in millions. Zacks states that values come back in millions of the reporting currency and should not be re-scaled. Its troubleshooting notes also say the default is the four most recent periods, up to forty available, so ask for annual or quarterly explicitly when results look mixed.
