What it doesn’t do
It produces drafts and critique, not finished production design. It does not open or write your Figma files — the output is a starting point a designer takes over.
Where it runs
Anthropic built Design as a Cowork plugin, which runs inside Claude Desktop. We rebuilt it as MCP-compatible skills, so the same bundle works in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code, and Agentman over one connection.
